April 2026 – The Australian Agritech Association (AusAgritech), Australia’s peak national body for agritech, has announced a new partnership with Advanced, a fast, flexible R&D finance provider powering Australian innovators to build and scale without giving up equity.
The partnership formalises a shared commitment to ensuring that agritech founders across Australia, particularly those in regional and rural communities, have access to the capital mechanisms that can accelerate their growth.
AusAgritech Executive Officer Meg Lovegrove said the partnership responds directly to a gap the organisation hears about regularly from its members.
“Australian agritech companies are building solutions to some of agriculture’s most complex problems. Many of them are doing world-class work and still struggling to access the capital they need to keep going.”
“This partnership gives our members a trusted, Australian-owned pathway into R&D finance. Advanced move quickly, they understand the innovation landscape, and they are genuinely committed to backing regional businesses.”
“We are proud to welcome them into the AusAgritech community.”
Advanced provides fast, flexible R&D finance to Australian innovators, helping businesses access capital against their R&D Tax Incentive entitlement during the phases of their business that need it most, rather than waiting on government payment cycles. The company has already deployed more than $10 million in R&D finance to businesses across agriculture, technology, manufacturing and life sciences, with funding decisions made in as little as 24 to 48 hours.
Advanced Founder and CEO Alex Knight said the partnership with AusAgritech extends the company’s reach into regional innovation communities where high-quality R&D is being undertaken every day.
“Regional businesses are doing world-class R&D. The gap is not in the innovation. It is in the awareness of what is available to fund it and the availability of capital.”
“Partnering with the peak national body for agritech means we can have the conversations that matter with the founders who need them most.”
The partnership will be activated through a series of free member education events, beginning with an AusAgritech Lunch and Learn webinar on 16 April 2026, where the Advanced team will walk agritech founders through how R&D finance works and how to find out if their business is eligible.
Advanced will also be present at the Agritech Showcase on 12 June 2026 in Brisbane, as part of National Agritech Week 2026, where they will be available to meet with founders and members directly.
