MEDIA RELEASE: Team Australia Mission to Agritechnica 2025 – Australian Pavilion Confirmed

Unified national presence to accelerate export, investment, and collaboration for Australian agritech in Europe

September 2025 – Australia’s agritech sector is set to shine on the global stage like never before, with the Team Australia Mission to Agritechnica 2025 bringing a coordinated national presence to the world’s largest agricultural machinery and technology trade fair this November in Hannover, Germany. 

For the first time, the Australian Pavilion will unite a diverse group of innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders under one banner. This landmark moment signals Australia’s intent to showcase its home-grown technologies to a global audience of more than 450,000 visitors from nearly 150 countries. 

Presented by the Australian Agritech Association (AusAgritech) in partnership with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries (DPI) and AgriFutures growᴬᴳ., the Pavilion will highlight Australia’s reputation as a world-class testbed for innovation and a leader in solutions that address productivity, climate, and sustainability challenges.

Department of Primary Industries Acting Director-General Ashley Bacon said the Queensland Government is proud to support the mission to Agritechnica. 


“This is an excellent opportunity to showcase Queensland’s dynamic AgTech ecosystem, anchored by innovative regional companies, world-class research infrastructure, and the collaborative strength of ‘Team Queensland’, Mr Bacon said. 

“Queensland represents around 40% of the innovators and ecosystem partners in this mission, underscoring our leadership role and the strength of our united approach in shaping Australia’s global AgTech reputation.”

AgriFutures growᴬᴳ Senior Manager David Lord said they are excited to support the Team Australia mission to Agritechnica.

The mission will showcase a cross-section of Australian agritech talent, from robotics and on-farm automation to crop intelligence and digital platforms, all with one goal: to take Australian agricultural innovation to the world. 

Team Australia at Agritechnica 2025 is more than an exhibition – it’s a statement. It’s about visibility, credibility, and seizing the momentum of a global stage to build new partnerships and pathways for growth.

The delegation will be led by Michael Macolino and Meg Lovegrove, with participating companies including DataFarming, Connected Farms, CropNexus, CropScanAg, SwarmFarm Robotics, GrainKing, and Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE).
