13 November 2023 – The Australian Agritech Association (AusAgritech) is excited to announce the Australian Agritech Investor Showcase & Awards Gala, will be hosted in Melbourne in 2024. The event is set to be a great success with the support of Agriculture Victoria (AgVic) as the Event Host Sponsor and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) as the Major Event Sponsor.
AusAgritech has spent the months since the inaugural 2023 Australian Agritech Investor Showcase and Awards, held earlier this year in June, discussing with State governments and Agricultural agencies to secure the location for 2024. The 2023 event witnessed a remarkable turnout, featuring over 250 investor meetings, participation from 44 agritech companies, and attendance by 25 investors. The Gala, a highlight of the event, brought together 250 ecosystem players who celebrated the achievements and innovations within the agritech industry with the presentation of 11 prestigious awards, recognizing excellence and innovation across various categories within the agritech industry.
The 2023 event proved that AusAgritech members, as well as innovators in the wider agritech ecosystem, are providing tangible technology solutions to Australia’s farmers and producers. AusAgritech is proud to see the impact this initiative has made on the agritech sector and looks forward to continuing to raise the profile of agritech innovators, demonstrating the potential of the agritech sector on a national scale, each year.
